1879 Mighty Meatball Sliders
What You Need:
1 - Cake Pan (a 9 x 11 should do the trick)
1 - Fairly Large Bowl (No not that one. Yeah get the big one. Good Job!)
1 - 2 lb. (32 oz.) bag of "Family Style" Meatballs. Sure you can use "Italian Style" but you're mixing Genres, "Spaghetti" and "Western". Don't be surprised if the lip-sync is a little off and the sound effects come across as a bit awkward. Sergio Leone and Terrence Hill are agog, possibly even aghast.
2 - Bags minimum (12 oz ea) King's Sweet Hawaiian Rolls
1 - Jar "1879 ®" (the goody formerly known as "Texas Ranch Sauce ®")
1 - Jar "Bread and Butter Pickles with an Attitude ®" (Yes that's really their name)
1 - Pkg Pre-sliced Provolone Cheese
What You Do:
(You're gonna like this one. It's REALLY easy!)
1) Really? Go wash your hands ya savage
2) Pre-heat your oven to 350º
3) Dump the entire bag of meatballs into the fairly large bowl
4) Dump the entire jar of 1879 ® (Formerly Known as “Ranch Sauce) over the meatballs and toss like a salad until everything is good and covered.
5) Pour in Cake Pan and cover in tinfoil.
6) Bake at 350º for 20 minutes, remove the tinfoil and bake an additional 20
(*Keep an eye on this. Different places and different ovens can bring different results. Your's might be a little faster or a little slower.)
7) Remove from oven, slice open a roll, and place a meatball inside. Top with a 1/4 slice of Provolone Cheese and Bread and Butter Pickle with an Attitude ®. Repeat until you either run out of meatballs or rolls.
